chore(deps): tighten bundler peer/dependency declarations - #159
Merged

Conversation
- @dotenv-run/vite: move `vite` from dependencies to peerDependencies (+ dev). A bundler plugin must not bundle its own bundler; the plugin only imports the `Plugin` type, which the host always provides. Prevents duplicate Vite instances / version conflicts. - @dotenv-run/rollup: widen the `rollup` peer range to `^3.0.0 || ^4.0.0` to support Rollup 4 consumers. - @dotenv-run/esbuild: align `@dotenv-run/core` to `^1.3.7` for consistency with the other packages. Dependency-hygiene pass across the bundler integrations. Each import was checked against source before reclassifying.
Changes
@dotenv-run/vite— movevitefrom a runtimedependencyto apeerDependency(+ keep it as adevDependency). A bundler plugin must not ship its own copy of the bundler: the previous setup risked a duplicate Vite instance and version conflicts with the host project.src/index.tsonly imports thePlugintype from Vite, which the consumer always provides.^5.0.0 || ^6.0.0 || ^7.0.0@dotenv-run/rollup— widen therolluppeer range from^3.0.0to^3.0.0 || ^4.0.0so Rollup 4 consumers are supported (the package imports only thePlugintype).@dotenv-run/esbuild— align the@dotenv-run/corerange to^1.3.7(was~1.3.7) for consistency with every other package.Not changed (checked, no action needed)
@dotenv-run/jest—jest-env.mjsis a self-contained transformer (import.meta.env = process.env); it does not import@dotenv-run/core, so no dependency is missing.Verification
pnpm install+pnpm buildfor the three affected packages — all green.@dotenv-run/esbuildunit tests pass.A changeset (
patchfor all three) is included so the release automation picks these up.Generated by Claude Code
