Chase HUD brings a sharp, understated finish to your FiveM server. A compact health and armor strip anchors the lower corner, with a circular microphone indicator and small status icons that leave the city in view. Bold condensed lettering, clean white accents, and dark backing keep the information readable at a glance.
The circular radar sits in the upper corner, framed by a rotating compass with heading, district, street, and cross-street labels. The layout takes visual inspiration from NoPixel V while bringing its own Chase implementation and editable styling.

| Compact vitals | Native navigation | A consistent finish |
|---|---|---|
| Health, armor, hunger, thirst, stamina, and underwater oxygen. | GTA map, blips, and GPS inside a circular frame, with compass and location labels. | White typography, dark panels, animated voice feedback, and vehicle telemetry. |
- Voice you can see. The microphone animates while speaking and changes size with voice range when connected to
pma-voice. - A real GTA minimap. Native map rendering follows the player; the interface supplies the circular border, compass, and readable location labels.
- Ready for the road. Vehicle speed in mph or km/h, gear and reverse, fuel, RPM, and engine state.
- Space when you need it. The HUD hides during inventory and focused menus, character selection, logout, pause, and screen fades.
/hudgives players a visibility toggle. - Local assets included. Fonts, icons, radar mask, and compiled UI ship with the resource. No runtime font or image downloads.
- Open and editable. Lua, TypeScript, and CSS source are included. Change the branding, spacing, colors, radar position, units, and display thresholds.
The HUD runs on the client. It adds no server scripts, screenshot capture loop, or extra preview peds.
Requires an existing QBCore, Qbox, ESX, or Chase Core server. The framework adapters are included. No SQL import, chase_bridge, ox_lib, or specific inventory is required.
- Download Chase HUD.
- Extract it into your server's
resourcesdirectory and rename the folderchase_hud. - Disable the existing HUD, such as
qb-hudorqbx_hud, so only one resource controls the minimap. - Add
ensure chase_hudafter your framework inserver.cfg, then restart your server and reconnect.
# Example: an existing Qbox server
ensure qbx_core
ensure chase_hudKeep your framework's normal startup entry on other servers. Review config.lua for display preferences. The compiled UI is included, so installing the resource does not require Node.js or a build step.
| Framework | Detected resource | Optional explicit setting |
|---|---|---|
| QBCore | qb-core |

| Qbox | qbx_core |

| ESX | es_extended |

| Chase Core | chase_core |

Detection defaults to auto. If your setup needs an override, set framework in config.lua or use setr chase_hud:framework "qbox" in your server configuration.
Optional integrations: pma-voice supplies proximity and radio state; native talking detection remains available without it. ESX servers can use esx_status for hunger and thirst. Unavailable needs are hidden. Inventory visibility uses the existing invOpen / inv_busy states and NUI focus, with a visibility export for custom menus:
exports.chase_hud:SetVisible(false)
exports.chase_hud:SetVisible(true)Public preview · v1.0.1-rc.1. All four adapters are implemented. Build, Lua, and automated behavior checks passed; full gameplay acceptance for this exact build is still pending. Framework support is not yet a claim of verified clean-install testing on all four frameworks.
Adjust the settings in config.lua, or edit web/src for a custom visual style. To rebuild the interface:
cd web
npm ci
npm run check
npm run buildThe installation ZIP contains runtime files, editable source, build inputs, configuration, and license notices. This README and its presentation artwork stay on GitHub.
