About this library

Understand how to control light represents a research area of significant impact nowadays, driven largely by the emergence of quantum technologies as a prominent source of novel applications. This library aims to provide an understable framework in python for academic research on classical and quantum optics mainly designed for experimentalists.

The submodule for classical optics is widely inspired on FiniteDifferenceBPM MATLAB library implemented by José Carlos do Amaral Rocha.
