Summary

  • update the Angular and React demos to Capacitor 8.5.1
  • migrate iOS lifecycle handling to UIScene for Xcode 27 compatibility
  • migrate the React demo from CocoaPods to Swift Package Manager
  • keep status bar touch handling on the active scene

Validation

  • npx cap sync ios for both demos
  • Xcode 27 RC generic iOS device builds with code signing disabled for both demos
