Describe the solution you'd like
Either enableClustering method to accept an optional parameter for a custom renderer, or a setClustererRenderer method in which parameters can be passed to customize the cluster marker

are you able to cluster at all with this library?

@sc-atompower It's been a while since I tried out this library. I ended up reverting back to using google maps with @googlemaps/markerclusetererplus because my use case required custom icons for the cluster markers. From what I remember, I was able to enable marker clustering with this package; I was just unable to customize the icon. I believe it defaulted to the icons shown here.

I looked at the source code, and I don't think it would be a huge effort to implement this change. I just haven't made the time to work on it and submit a PR.
