Summary
Documents how packages get to npm, and makes the contributing docs easier for both people and agents to follow.
I wrote the publishing part while doing the first publish of
@callstack/create-react-native-brownfield(#480), so every step in it is one we actually ran.What changed
CONTRIBUTING.md): the regular changesets flow, and a step-by-step for a new package. It also covers the gotchas we hit..claude/skills/publish-new-npm-package: a maintainer skill that walks an agent through the first publish.CONTRIBUTING.md): the section listed some scripts as root scripts that live in workspaces.CONTRIBUTING.md): a table of what to run before a PR depending on what you touched.AGENTS.md: a short entry point for coding agents.
