cannot access the led device after "superbooted"

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed superboot for ERE27 with himem enabled (from
http://android.modaco.com/content/google-nexus-one-nexusone-modaco-com/298782/22
-mar-erd79-epe76-superboot-rooting-the-nexus-one/
)
2. Try to run the N1 Torch
3. Got "cannot access the led device" error

I ran "adb logcat" to get more details. The log file for a cold start is
attached.
