The repo has no license for now, so the skills stop claiming MIT. Contributions are still welcome.

  • Removes license: MIT from all four SKILL.md files and the skill-spec example, so it no longer ships in the zips.
  • tools/build_catalog.py no longer writes license, so catalog.json entries have no license key. Readers should treat it as absent.
  • README: removes the License section, which linked to the deleted LICENSE.
  • CONTRIBUTING: "license under MIT" becomes "content you wrote or have the right to share". The invitation to contribute is unchanged.
  • Keeps proposal-builder/references/rendering.md's note that pdfcn's own components carry their upstream MIT license. That describes third-party code the setup downloads, not this repo.
  • Skills get patch bumps (bid-leveling 4.1.1, proposal-builder 2.0.2, rfp-intake 2.0.2, workforce-planning 3.0.2) and the marketplace goes to 0.12.0.

Note

Remove MIT license from skills, docs, and catalog

  • Removes the license: MIT frontmatter field from all four skills (SKILL.md, SKILL.md, SKILL.md, SKILL.md) and drops the License section from README.md
  • Updates build_catalog.py so build_catalog.build_entry no longer emits a license field; regenerates catalog.json
  • Rewrites the licensing rule in CONTRIBUTING.md as a rights guideline: contributors must own or have the right to share content, and vendored third-party skills are rejected (links to them are allowed)
  • Removes the required license field from the skill spec in skill-spec.md and bumps marketplace version to 0.12.0
  • Risk: any tooling that expects a license field in SKILL.md frontmatter or catalog.json entries will no longer find it

Macroscope summarized 964624c.

Drops license: MIT from every SKILL.md, the license field from catalog.json,
and the MIT wording in README, CONTRIBUTING and the skill spec. Contributions
are still welcome. pdfcn's upstream license notice in proposal-builder stays.
