GitHub runners default to .NET 10, which failed win-x64 restore for net8-windows. Pin SDK 8.x, keep WiX/publish on win-x64, add a NuGet README, and fix remaining nullable/async warnings so build, test, and pack succeed.
Parallel MSBuild and GeneratePackageOnBuild raced on NLogViewer.g.cs. Build with -m:1, disable node reuse, and pack only in the explicit pack step.
Run GitVersion, compile/test/pack, publish, and WiX in one job. Skip the installer during solution build via NLogViewer.CI.slnf so the MSI gets a GitVersioned product version.
Install unpacked win-x64 files under Program Files, upgrade the existing x86 layout via the same UpgradeCode, and use the analysis icon for the EXE, shortcuts, and ARP.
…ewer Nest the product folder under a Boexler company directory and remove that folder on uninstall.
Import paths passed on the command line so shell invocations actually open the file, and forward further invocations to the already running instance over a named pipe instead of starting a second process. Register NLogViewer as a Windows .log handler and add an installer page that lets the user opt into the default-app confirmation, which Windows only accepts interactively.
Replace the split pre-release and publish workflows with Publish Dev, ship stable and prerelease builds under the same package ID, and push NuGet, Chocolatey, and GitHub prerelease assets together when publishing.
Switch feature and unknown branches to ContinuousDelivery so GitVersion raises the pre-release counter instead of staying at .1.
