⚠️ As of March 2026, the rems package (used in wqbc) is deprecated following the release of the new B.C. Environmental Monitoring Data System (EnMoDs). Data accessible using rems is current to February 26, 2026. The EnMoDs database is accessible using a new package: (renmods)[https://github.com/bcgov/renmods].
Some of the wqbc package functions may not work correctly with EnMoDs data. We are still testing potential impacts.
There are no current plans to update the wqbc package. If you use regularly, please comment to let us know.
