fix(pcloud): upload in one request, and in ordered parts only from 4 GiB (Requested 123) - #1455
Requested 123, measured by W0 on Windows 10 on v4.2.5: upload_write part N returned result 2068, with 2 parts 10/10, 3 parts about 8/10, 4 parts about 1/10, 6 and 10 parts 0. The legacy engine passes 18/18.
Reproduced on Linux with the same account in a test folder: 4 failed attempts in 8 uploads of 10 parts. The CLI's own retry hid them, so every upload ended with exit 0.
Cause
pCloud declared two chunk slots. With more than one, the graph dispatches any ready part, so parts reach upload_write out of order. With one slot the builder chains them, which is what ordering-sensitive sessions already use.
How rclone does it
Same account, same 40 MiB file: 24 of 24 with no error, about 4.9 s each. It sends one PUT /uploadfile for every size, with nopartial=1 and mtime, and no parts at all. Its source says random-access writes seem disabled at pCloud. The server answers Connection: close, so each part of ours paid for a new connection.
Change
One chunk slot, which chains the parts in order.
Files under 4 GiB use single-shot uploadfile, as rclone does.
From 4 GiB, ordered parts of 64 MiB, so a failure costs one part and not a file that large.
Measured
Same account and test folder. "Debug" is this branch's debug build, which is slower than a release build at this work.
4.2.5 release, default engine, 10 parts: 4 failed attempts in 8, about 10 s each.
This branch before the threshold change, one slot, 10 parts: 0 failed attempts in 24, then 1 in 8 whose error I did not keep, so it is unexplained. It may have been 2068 or anything else, and that path now runs only from 4 GiB.
This branch, single shot, 40 MiB: 0 failed attempts in 12, 11 s each (debug). Downloaded back and identical.
320 MiB: this branch 39 s (debug), ordered parts 75 s, rclone 34 s.
64 ordered parts, 320 MiB: passed, downloaded back and identical.
Windows 10
W0, CI artifact of this PR merged on main, default engine, --retries 0, a new name for each file:
8, 16, 24 and 40 MiB, 10 uploads each: 0 failed attempts, 2068 never seen, about 2.0, 2.9, 4.8 and 5.9 s. On v4.2.5 the same bench failed about 9 in 10 at 4 parts and always from 6.
320 MiB, two uploads: 89.5 and 110.6 s, no error.
The last of each size downloaded back and identical.
Not covered
Files from 4 GiB were not uploaded for real: the ordered path was tested with --chunk-size on 320 MiB.
A file under 4 GiB that fails restarts from zero, as with rclone.
The date rclone sends as mtime belongs to Requested 125.

Upload Changes
Files smaller than 4 GiB are uploaded in a single operation. Larger files are uploaded in 64 MiB parts, one at a time.
Bug Fixes
pCloud rate-limit responses during multipart uploads are now recognized, and upload guidance reflects the updated behavior.
Two chunk slots sent parts out of order and upload_write answered 2068: 4 failed attempts in 8 uploads of 10 parts, hidden by the CLI's retry and fatal on Windows. One slot chains the parts. Files under 4 GiB now use uploadfile, as rclone does for every size, because the session takes about twice as long and the server closes the connection after each request.

Walkthrough
pCloud upload routing now uses a 4 GiB multipart threshold and 64 MiB parts. Multipart transfers use one slot and chain parts in order. Tests and documentation reflect these settings.
Changes: pCloud upload behavior
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Upload threshold and part sizing src-tauri/src/providers/pcloud.rs
The multipart threshold changes from 4 MiB to 4 GiB, and the preferred part size changes from 4 MiB to 64 MiB.
Multipart hints and chunk-slot tests now use one slot. The executor remains LockedSingle. Documentation and tests describe ordered parts and single-shot uploads for files under 4 GiB.
Issue 368 reports pCloud upload failures with result 2068. This change limits multipart uploads to one slot and uses single-shot uploads for files under 4 GiB.

Explanation
The title names the two main changes: uploads use one request, and ordered parts apply only from 4 GiB. The raw summary confirms the threshold change to 4 GiB, the 64 MiB part size, and the single-slot ordered parts. The title matches the changeset's main intent and states the prefix 'fix(pcloud)' scope, which fits the pCloud provider change.

Add a routing test for the pCloud threshold mapping.
pcloud.rs:2536 compares the hint with PCLOUD_MULTIPART_THRESHOLD. pcloud.rs:2541 pins the configured 4 GiB value. Neither assertion reads the value after TransferCapabilities::from_provider_hints copies it at capabilities.rs:168. The builder test at builder.rs:2026 uses synthetic capabilities, so it does not cover this mapping. If capabilities.rs:168 dropped or zeroed the threshold, builder.rs:339-346 would fall back to the chunk size. A 100 MiB upload is larger than the pCloud part size, so it can fan out into multipart parts without any failing test.
Add a test that converts the pCloud hints and plans a 100 MiB upload:
Add imports for TransferCapabilities, TransferDagBuilder, TransferDirection, TransferNodeKind, and ProviderType if the test module does not already import them.

Review comment at @src-tauri/src/providers/pcloud.rs at line 2541:
Add a routing test using pCloud’s transfer hints, convert them with
TransferCapabilities::from_provider_hints, and pass the resulting capabilities
to TransferDagBuilder::shaped_file for a 100 MiB upload. Assert the converted
threshold remains 4 GiB and the plan contains one upload part and one UploadFile
node.
