Add a dprint Wasm plugin - #161
Conversation
dprint users have no way to sort Tailwind classes without shelling out to the CLI through the exec plugin (#48). The new dprint-plugin-rustywind crate wraps rustywind_core in dprint's Wasm plugin interface and exposes the CLI options that work without file or network access. The plugin matches files additively, so it sorts classes after the TypeScript or markup plugin formats a file instead of competing with it for the file. Each tagged release uploads the .wasm next to the CLI binaries, and a smoke test formats fixtures with the real dprint CLI to cover the Wasm exports and additive matching.

The release job holds a contents: write token, so running npx dprint and a downloaded TypeScript plugin there gave fetched code access to it. The job now only builds the wasm, and the smoke test stays in the read-only tests workflow. Pin the TypeScript plugin by checksum so a changed upstream plugin fails the smoke test.
The plugin sorted classes the user had excluded with dprint-ignore or dprint-ignore-file, so adding it changed content other plugins leave alone. Only the claiming plugin's parser knows which node an ignore comment covers, so skip any file with an ignore directive instead.
[Medium impact] The PR appears safe to merge.

Matching the bare substring meant prose or a class named dprint-ignore turned off sorting for the whole file. Require the directive to follow a comment opener from one of the supported languages.

A block comment such as <!--\ndprint-ignore\n--> still sorted classes, because only spaces and tabs were trimmed between the opener and the directive.

- Line 145: Update the logic around the before text derived in the
directive-detection path so a `//` opener is only recognized when it belongs to
the same line as `dprint-ignore`; do not let trim_end carry an opener across a
newline, and preserve directive handling for valid same-line comments.

Trimming line breaks let a // that ended one line pair with plain text dprint-ignore on the next, skipping a file with no directive. Only block comment openers may now precede the directive across a line break.

Closes #48
What
Adds
dprint-plugin-rustywind, a dprint Wasm plugin built onrustywind_core.associations.allowDuplicates,preserveWhitespace,tailwindPrefix,customRegex,classWrapping, andsortOrder. Invalid values are reported as dprint config diagnostics.--output-css-fileand--vite-cssaren't supported because Wasm plugins can't read files or use the network.Release
v*tag builds the plugin and uploadsdprint-plugin-rustywind.wasmto the GitHub release.RELEASE.mdnow covers bumping both together.Testing
rustywind-dprint/tests/plugin.rsdrives the plugin handler natively: sorting, config options, diagnostics, ranges, non-UTF-8 input, and null options.ci/dprint_smoke.bash(just dprint-plugin, also a new job intests.yml) builds the.wasmand formats fixtures with the real dprint CLI and the TypeScript plugin, then checks that a second pass is a no-op. It fails if the plugin stops being additive.Summary by CodeRabbit
