Artisan Editor by Artisan Street

Artisan Editor is an all-in-one orchestrator for managing agent harnesses.
Run Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok and OpenCode side by side in a single
desktop app, on your own machine or on any host you connect, and keep every
conversation, model and usage limit in one place.


Features
--------

One home for every harness
  Start threads on Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok or OpenCode and switch
  between them without changing tools. Pick models from one selector, keep
  your favourites close, and see which engines are installed and signed in.

Fast
  A GPU-rendered desktop app written in Rust. Streaming answers render as
  they arrive, with syntax-highlighted code, math, images and diffs.

Stay in control of a running agent
  Steer a turn while it works, queue follow-ups, and approve or deny tool
  calls as they come in. Reasoning and tool work are shown as they happen,
  folded away once the turn settles.

Your machines, your hosts
  Agents run on a Forge, a small background service on the machine that
  holds your projects. Connect the Editor to a Forge on another computer,
  a server or WSL with a single invitation, and move between hosts from
  the same window.

Built to survive interruptions
  Conversations are stored by the Forge, not the window. Close the Editor,
  lose the network or restart a host, and your threads pick up where they
  left off.

Usage at a glance
  Context usage per thread and plan limits per account, so you know how
  much room is left before you hit a wall.

Organised by project
  Threads are grouped by project and repository, with recent work one click
  away and notifications when an agent needs you.

We don't accept pull requests; any that are opened will be closed without
review.

Suggestions are welcome. If you have an idea, found a bug, or want to
request a feature, please open an issue.


License

Artisan Editor is released under the AST License. In short:

- You may use, modify, and redistribute it, provided the copyright notice
  and license are kept intact.
- You may not sell or otherwise monetize it, or products derived from it,
  without a separate commercial license from Artisan Street.
- Derived products must use a different name and must not use the Artisan
  names or logos, or imply endorsement by Artisan Street.
