Implementation of Algorithms 1 & 2 from "Fair Division Under Cardinality Constraints" (Biswas & Barman, 2018, https://arxiv.org/abs/1804.09521).

Computes a feasible EF1 allocation when items are partitioned into categories with per-category capacity limits, using greedy round-robin per category combined with envy-cycle elimination.

Files added:

  • fairpyx/algorithms/fair_division_under_cardinality_constraints.py
  • tests/test_fair_division_under_cardinality_constraints.py
  • Updated fairpyx/algorithms/__init__.py
All tests related to this algorithm pass.
