Summary

Adds Observability (Informative) section , covering:

  • W3C Trace Context propagation across Registry calls and federation.
  • Correlation of consumer verification, selection, and policy decisions.
  • Native-protocol handoff through context continuation or span links.
  • Trust-boundary, privacy, and sampling controls.

Explicitly separates telemetry from trust evidence, authorization, and relevance scoring. No schema, API, or conformance changes.

Addresses #89.

Cover trace propagation, federation privacy boundaries, consumer-side
decisions, and native-protocol handoff without changing ARD contracts.

Thanks @91pavan ! This looks good to me: keeping W3C Trace Context propagation, federation trust boundaries, and handoff correlation informative in §5.5 while leaving concrete span and attribute schemas to OpenTelemetry semantic conventions.

Feel free to also open a PR in https://github.com/ards-project/ard-docs if you'd like to link the ard-lifecycle-instrumentation prototype or add an observability guide there.
