Accept the native cutover before retiring the legacy Factory installation #9

Closed

Description

@gustavonline

Current state — 8 October 2026

The owner explicitly authorized retirement of the old setup. The legacy repository is now publicly archived, with releases, history and the successor link preserved. Its identified runtime service and release-check timer are stopped and disabled. No repository, provider profile or native history was deleted.

The new native T3 service remains active in the separate execution account. This accepted retirement does not imply that the remaining application, physical-host or phone trials have passed.

Acceptance

  • Complete the remaining host/client observations and one useful application delivery. Track actual proof in host qualification and application delivery; do not infer it from this archive.
  • Inventory the old work, exact service/timer, release and private history. Before stopping, the native status interface showed historical review work and no active execution. Preserve the inventory and recovery instructions privately.
  • Obtain the owner's explicit retirement decision for this installation and public repository.
  • Stop and disable only the identified obsolete runtime service and release-check timer. Preserve shared credentials, application worktrees and history.
  • Read back the old service as inactive with no main process, its timer as disabled, and the replacement T3 service as active. The preserved installation can be recovered after reconciling writers and repository state.
  • Publicly archive the legacy repository, retaining releases, discussions and transition links.

No live-session import is claimed. The old history remains available in its original environment. Replacement qualification was accepted on 10 October 2026 as recorded below. No further destructive cleanup is required.

Replacement acceptance — 10 October 2026

The selected host/Mac/iPhone route is accepted in #2. The real AIOS application delivery is accepted in #4: AIOS 0.27.0 is published, required CI passes, and the installed native panel was exercised. This was an assisted delivery; permission/toolchain friction remains explicitly tracked in #7, not hidden as autonomous operation.

Today's authenticated readback still shows the legacy repository as public and archived. The service/timer retirement evidence above dates to 8 October; no new shutdown, history deletion or automatic upgrade was performed for this closure. The preserved recovery route and historical releases remain available.

The owner explicitly approved retiring the legacy setup on 8 October 2026. The legacy repository is now public and archived; its existing successor link, releases and discussions remain available.

The selected old Inbox service and its release-check timer are stopped and disabled. Native status showed ten historical tasks awaiting review and no active execution before the stop. Runtime files, credentials, task history and application checkouts were preserved; re-enabling the same service/timer is the recorded recovery route. The separate T3 service remains active.

This records the approved retirement, not completion of every replacement qualification. Application delivery, physical restart/network changes and a real phone decision retain their own open evidence requirements.
