- Drop the implicit PN_BASE check (verify_identity constructor flag); clock_checks/clock_dump keep calling verify_identity() explicitly. - MCU.hardware_revision() is a plain read; Registry caches the revision. - Remove unused STICKY_FLAG_BYTES, dead PN branch in check_id, duplicate DEVICE_READY_VALUE, default layout/decoders args in clock_dump; trim Si5341Reg to the registers the code reads. - "cannot determine clock chips" messages point to --hw-rev; document get_clock errors; Rev2 notes in design.md / EXAMPLES.md. - Tests: verify_identity for both chips, Si5341 dump rendering from the board 210 R0A values.
