The original automated update widened the published package contract to Textual 8.2.8, but the frozen lockfile remained on Textual 6.12.0. Its green CI therefore did not exercise either Textual 7 or 8 and could not support that compatibility claim. A future major upgrade should be handled as a dedicated TUI migration with the new version actually locked and tested.
