Latest gnome update is not compatible with GNOME version 41.1
Edit: Listed as incompatible in extensions.gnome webpage but works when installed using directions listed on github.
Note: Wayland does not support alt + f2 r command. I restarted my computer instead. Perhaps there's an easier alternative to restart gnome-shell.
