native tabs don't work

theories:
when switching between tabs of windows we get a windowserverdestroyed (prior tab) and a windowserverappeared (for the new tab). Somehow we should track if we are getting this event for a window id that has a AXTabGroup and then maybe set some form of flag that gets picked up by windowserverappeared so that we just swap the window in place, thus handling it.

In aerospace the tabs for WezTerm did not work. However, when I just tried them in Rift on latest main branch I'm unable to reproduce issues that I recall having. What apps can you actually reproduce this with?

that's just by happenstance, rift has no code that is explicitly handling tabs so behavior is unknown and likely not to be what is desired so i generally can't recommend using native tabs.

Yes that is why it's strange that it works. I found out by accident cause I accidentally hit the hotkey to open a tab.

Not a developer. But I think I see this bug too but can you confirm?
in Mac, when I'm in Mac finder, if I Cmd-T to open a tab, rift repaints the windows and all windows are re-placed and moved by rift. Am I seeing the same bug as this bug?

For reference, Paneru just added native tabs support: karinushka/paneru#149
