The latest version (4.2.1) does not install in a .net6 project

When installing through CLI or through VisualStudio nuget package manager you get the same error when installing the latest version of this package =>

It seems as though the package targets windows 8 instead of .net6 standalone

I have fixed this by installing 4.2.0 from the CLI instead of 4.2.1

They have been open since February and July with no signs of a merge coming soon though.
