Pairx finally gives users the explainability with a colorful heat map to compare their query image and match candidate with MiewID on the match page (/react/match-results). For some species, this heatmap obscures the more subtle marking researchers need to view to confirm identification.
A button to show/hide this heatmap (like we have for show/hide annotations) would give researchers yet another tool to verify their individuals as it's only in the inspection view that they can see the query and candidate images oriented in the same direction for easier comparison.
