…ate registry The Dockerfile's default CROSS_IMAGE is pinned to a private registry, so a build outside the project's own network fails while resolving the builder stage. Dockerfile.ci already holds the public recipe for that image, so a bake file can link its `cross` stage in as the builder base. The Dockerfile, the pin and the release workflows are unchanged. Summary
The default
CROSS_IMAGEinDockerfileis pinned to a private registry, so anyone outside the project's network fails on the builder stage with a connection timeout. This addsdocker-bake.hcl, which builds thecrossstage ofDockerfile.ciand links it in as the builder base.Dockerfile, the pin and the release workflows are unchanged, so release builds behave as before. The
--fileflag matters because bake otherwise also readsdocker-compose.yml.User-visible behaviour
None for users of the published images. Contributors without registry access get a supported way to build the real
Dockerfile, documented indocs/DEVELOPMENT.md.Compatibility
None.

No Rust or frontend code changed, so the cargo and npm checks were not run.
