Every question-specific plotting function stores its plots as HTML widgets in a list. This list then contains 1 or many of these plot objects. In order to render each plot object in the list in the generated report, I'm using htmltools::tagList(plots) .
For HTML widgets generated by Plotly this works perfectly fine but not for the ones that were generated by Wordcloud2.
What I've found out already is that the wordcloud objects themselves are created correctly and stored successfully in the list and if one tries to render them in RStudio they are displayed as expected. However, the wordclouds are not rendered when put in an rmd file.
I already unusuccessfully tried to solve this problem doing this htmltools::tagList(lapply(plots, print)).
