Adding dependabot.yml made 'open PR count' a dynamic output of automation rather than a static end-state: within minutes Dependabot had opened five PRs (#42-#46, including vitest 4->5 and @types/node 24->26) and was still going. Chasing the exact number in prose would go stale on the next Dependabot run, so the log now says what is true and durable: every open PR comes from Dependabot, being open is expected, and the count is no longer a criterion for whether the round delivered cleanly.
