Footnote support

In markdown you can specify a footnote like so:

Here's some text [^fn1] and some more text.

[^fn1]: this is a footnote

Is this something that the site supports?

So the site supports it but kinda badly in the sense that the footnotes have the numbering at the bottom but the text at the origin site.

@thelilmercoder You had mentioned that maybe making a pop-out is best for these, if you could explain the design that is best for things that need elaboration that would be good.
