make lint-renovate fails: unpinned renovate rejects managerFilePatterns in renovate.json #1024

Found while verifying PR #1022: make lint-renovate (and therefore make check) fails on main, independently of that PR.

Problem

The Makefile runs the validator with an unpinned renovate:

lint-renovate:
	npx --yes --package renovate -- renovate-config-validator --strict renovate.json

The latest Renovate release rejects 9 entries in renovate.json with "Invalid configuration option: customManagers[N].managerFilePatterns" (option renamed upstream). The pinned validator from AGENTS.md still passes:

Fix directions (pick one)

• Pin the validator version in the Makefile to match AGENTS.md (44.65.5) so make check is reproducible, or
• Migrate renovate.json to the new option name and bump the pin.

Either way, add/keep a pinned version so lint outcomes do not depend on whatever Renovate published last night.
