• Add shared installation steps for Atomic Agents 2.15.0 using the HTTP OTLP exporter.
• Put the missing generation input/output messages callout in the tracing setup step.
• Keep LLM attempt spans enabled and hide agent/tool payloads in the example.
• Reuse the existing onboarding components. The website stub and setup-agent configuration will link to this source.

Verification

• Formatted the new source with Prettier and compiled it with esbuild.
• Executed the shared step function and checked its setup callout and step structure.
• Ran the exact Python snippets through real Instructor/OpenAI clients with an HTTPX mock transport and a captured OTLP protobuf export.
• Checked parent/child spans, model and usage attributes, hidden payloads, and absent generation message attributes.
• No live OpenAI or PostHog calls were made.

Draft: full monorepo typechecking and rendered onboarding checks have not been run. The external Depot Django aggregate check is failing; its GitHub check record has no annotations or output, so its cause is unverified. Website: PostHog/posthog.com#21565.
