Alpha.8 is now published on PyPI and GitHub, but the release guide still describes a candidate. Update the publication status and dated README evidence, and record the release commit, workflow URLs, registry hashes and fresh-install checks in
docs/evidence/release-alpha8.json.Validation: a fresh PyPI environment passed the quickstart, deliberate Cancel failure/export/replay, and the real dispatch scenario with its deliberate mismatch. Both registry files and downloaded GitHub assets match the workflow artifacts. No runner behavior, published tag or released file changes.
