The explicit-state graph covers individual SciPy laws but has no composed distribution. Truncation needs the wrapped law and bounds to share state, and fitting can encounter invalid bounds during optimization.
This PR adds
TruncatedContinuousDistributionas a graph composition. Its name reflects the univariate continuous CDF and quantile operations it requires. Density, CDF, quantiles, and sampling follow the conditional law, with sample dimensions before parameter batches. Invalid quantiles return NaN, and fitting treats invalid interval proposals as infinite objective values.The legacy public truncation class stays available. Far-upper-tail intervals remain numerically unreliable because normalization subtracts nearly equal CDF values; a survival-function path is follow-up work.
