Both full-suite compatibility runs are complete: current master 297 passed / 29 skipped; feature source 322 passed / 4 skipped. The extra skips on master are the capability-gated format-routing cases. This harness can therefore merge first, followed by a rerun of scripts #48's Actions check. Its draft status follows the separate feature-test PR convention; there is no outstanding implementation dependency preventing review. |

Companion harness for #48. Tests remain off the OMERO-deployable production branch.
Cover physical v3-to-temporary-v2 routing with shallow storage enabled and disabled, native v2/v3 reuse, shallow Plate selected-pixel export, skipping canonical promotion, detached/batch-child format resolution, and all three script parameter defaults.
Merge order: merge this capability-gated harness before the production scripts PR, then rerun that PR's Actions check. New behavior assertions skip against source revisions without the routing helper. No unreleased dependency is required. This PR is opened as a draft according to the repository's feature-test workflow.
Validation: positive tests were observed failing against unchanged master before implementation. Full feature-source harness: 322 passed, 4 skipped. Changed modules against unchanged master: 10 passed, 25 capability skips. Companion web coverage: NL-BioImaging/OMERO.biomero#38.
