Closing as completed: MiniMax Code Desktop now supports adding your own API key through Custom Models / BYOK. Open Settings > Usage & model > Custom model > Add model, choose a preset provider or enter a compatible provider's base URL, API key, API format and model ID, then save and select the model from the message-box model menu. The current setup guide is https://agent.minimax.io/docs/code/account/byok. If you encounter a provider-specific connection problem, please report the app version and redacted error without sharing your API key.
