Closed doors have imported collision meshes, but gameplay rays ignore them. This change makes live, closed DOOR and BUTTON GameObjects block sight and collision in their own map and instance.

A private collider registry follows imports, spawns, pool activation, model replacement, Package Delta apply and replay, despawn and instance reap. Rays apply the spawn quaternion and scale, then choose the nearest static or dynamic hit. Navigation keeps its grid fallback where static generations are absent. Blink also keeps the caster's instance. The original debug ray command stays compatible; an additional command probes an explicit instance.

The synthetic durable test covers both ray flavors, transforms, static and dynamic hit ordering, open/closed/despawned state, sibling isolation, navigation, Blink and Package-converted pools through rearm, reroll and clear. The fixture aborts its transaction after successful assertions and verifies that seeded GameObject, model, player, configuration and Package rows survive. Imported Deadmines calibration and canonical-box performance remain Operator acceptance work. Package size or display changes need an explicitly matching model artifact; this change does not regenerate meshes from Package Claims. The new private table needs human schema review before shipping.

Verified: full Module, Gateway and shared suites; private durable fixture; Wasm build; all bindings regenerated and checked; formatting, strict Clippy and offline preflight.

Refs #113, #114, #103. The imported-data acceptance in #112 remains open.

Implemented with GPT-6 Astra in Codex.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features

    • Added collision support for closed door and button meshes.
    • Collision and line-of-sight checks now respect map instances, preventing objects in one instance from affecting another.
    • Added support for rebuilding and synchronizing dynamic colliders as game objects are created, moved, opened, closed, or removed.
    • Movement, navigation, blinking, floor detection, and creature positioning now account for dynamic door and button collisions.
  • Documentation

    • Added guidance for instance-specific door collision behavior and geometry probing.

Independent source review complete through af7dd92, pending current CI and the required human schema review.

Root and the item GUID implementer reviewed the collider transforms, nearest-hit selection, instance routing, state Gate and lifecycle. Follow-up review found that a Package can turn a pooled gathering template into a DOOR, so pool activation and removal must also maintain the registry. The final change adds those hooks. Its durable fixture uses public Package application, then proves pool rearm, movement, reroll and removal update ray behavior and remove stale registrations. Root reviewed this final delta and found no remaining source blocker.

The original seven-argument debug ray command remains compatible. The additional command accepts an explicit instance. All 995 generated bindings were checked using the supported private-generation path. The synthetic fixture and local suites pass; current CI is still running.

Human review is required for the new private table before shipping. Imported Deadmines geometry and canonical-box performance remain acceptance work. Package geometry changes require a matching model artifact. CodeRabbit has supplied only a quota notice on this PR, so no CodeRabbit content review is claimed.

The clean rebases onto main 408f417 preserve the reviewed patches. Root also merged all three final source changes together in an isolated checkout and verified the combined result:

  • Module: 1,508 tests passed.
  • Gateway: 1,448 tests passed; seven private tests excluded from that suite.
  • Private durable fixtures: all 12 item GUID cases and the door lifecycle case passed.
  • All 995 Gateway bindings match private generation.
  • Formatting and strict workspace Clippy passed.

No integration conflict or source correction was needed. The current rebased-head CI is running. Human schema review has been requested in the delivery thread; this PR stays held until that review and final CI complete.

Reviewed the fixture correction at 37d1a1e2eec8f0a20fcb5126f60719b6da1033a4. No findings.

The outer diagnostic reducer returns GO_COLLISION_FIXTURE_PASSED_ROLLED_BACK after every assertion, so its row writes roll back on success as well as failure. The durable caller requires that exact success marker and checks nonempty seeded GameObject, template, model, Character, WorldEntity, config and Package rows remain equal. The focused private durable test, strict Module Clippy and formatting pass.

This supplements the full CodeRabbit runtime review and prior combined source proof. The final CI must pass before merge. The user approved the private collider schema; #113 and #114 retain their canonical benchmark and imported Deadmines acceptance.
