What Changed

The thread action menu has a new "Manage folders..." item, placed right after "Project settings". It shows only when the thread's project comes from a .code-workspace file. Picking it opens the existing ProjectFoldersDialog in place.

The item appears on both surfaces that build this menu:

  • Right-click on a thread row in the default sidebar.
  • The chat header's thread menu (click the title or right-click the breadcrumb), through useThreadActionMenu.

The dialog targets the thread's own project (thread.environmentId + thread.projectId), not the sidebar group, because a group can span checkouts on several environments.

Why

Before this change, the default sidebar had two ways into the folders dialog. Project settings → Folders leaves the chat view. The legacy sidebar's project-header menu is off by default. Managing folders now takes one right-click from the thread you're working in.
