Bug: "Group" Button in Kanban View Does Nothing #115

Summary

The Group button in the Kanban view appears to have no effect when clicked.

There is no visible change in the UI, no grouping applied, and no feedback indicating whether the action succeeded or failed.

Environment

• Claude Code Studio: v7.x

Current Behavior

1. Open the Kanban view.
2. Click the Group button.
3. Nothing happens:
   • No UI update.
   • No grouping applied.
   • No loading indicator.
   • No error message.

Expected Behavior

Clicking Group should either:

• Open a grouping selection menu:

Group By

- Project
- Status
- Assignee
- Priority
- Schedule

or

• Apply the selected grouping immediately.

Additional Issues

The current behavior makes it unclear whether:

• The feature is not implemented.
• The feature has failed.
• The current grouping is already applied.
• A JavaScript/UI error occurred.

Suggested Improvements

• Show a loading indicator when grouping is applied.
• Show the selected grouping mode.
• Disable the button if the feature is not yet implemented.
• Display an error message if grouping fails.

Impact

• Confusing user experience.
• Users cannot determine whether the feature is functional.
• Reduces discoverability of Kanban organization features.

When clicking Group, the Kanban board should visibly reorganize tasks or present grouping options to the user.
