Summary

Decypharr flattens a torrent's internal directories on the mount (Season 1/ep.mkv → <folder>/ep.mkv). The RD cache kept the nested path, so 44,445 of 151,778 cached files (29%) pointed at paths that don't exist — invisible to the matcher, or skipped as source_missing_before_link (~19k per scan in prod). Map to <folder>/<file name> instead.

Measured against the prod cache: 0 of 48,981 nested RD paths exist nested; all exist flattened.

Validation

  • cargo test 931 passed, clippy -D warnings, fmt
  • two legacy tests that encoded the nested assumption updated; new test for flattening with and without a known mount folder

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Decypharr drops a torrent's internal directories, so every selected file
sits directly in the torrent folder. The cache kept the nested RD path and
29% of cached files (44k) were invisible or skipped as source_missing.

Bump version to 1.1.0-rc.17.
