Bonjour!

This is Kranthi. Welcome to my GitHub profile and technical resume!

I am a Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong foundation in Java ecosystem development and a specialized focus on backend architecture.

Throughout my progression, I have developed a particular passion for API design, security and maintenance, enjoying the challenge of building secure, scalable and well-documented backend systems.

Projects

A shared library serves as the foundational backbone in a microservices ecosystem. It encapsulates reusable domain models, utility classes, validation groups and robust error-handling mechanisms to ensure consistency, eliminate code duplication and enforce best practices across both Servlet and Reactive microservices.

A reactive API Gateway acts as the single secure entry point for the client UI. It handles dynamic routing, security enforcement and cross-cutting concerns to filter invalid traffic before it reaches backend services.

A centralized identity and security core acting as the source of truth for the ecosystem. This application issues cryptographically secured JWTs, enforces multi-tenancy and manages role-based access control (RBAC).

A full-stack enterprise data management application featuring a hardened Spring Boot backend and an Angular UI. Designed with optimized database querying, reactive frontend state management via Angular Signals and advanced multi-tenancy context handling.

This is my very first web application, featuring a full-stack portfolio with a Spring Boot backend and an Angular UI deployed on free instances. It was built with a focus on clean architecture, automated CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices.

Professional Experience

Software Developer, SoWeDid Solutions (2 Months)
  • Researched and wrote documentation for a Micro Frontend architecture using Module Federation for an Angular application.
  • Took static HTML templates from the UI/UX team and built dynamic Angular components out of them, making sure they matched all business requirements and wireframes.
Software Developer, SoWeDid Solutions (2 Years, 8 Months)
  • Worked in Agile teams to build and maintain web applications.
  • Refactored old code into Java v8 streams to make it cleaner and more efficient.
  • Designed and optimized BIRT reports for data reporting.
  • Connected third-party APIs to the main application.
  • Set up custom mail templates for the Spring Boot backend.
  • Improved custom Quartz cron jobs so background tasks run better.
  • Tuned Elasticsearch to make data searches much faster.
  • Added Angular DataTables for features like pagination and sorting.
  • Connected the Paytm payment UI to the frontend.
  • Handled full-stack debugging across both the frontend and backend.
  • Set up proxy.config.json for local development when migrating from AngularJS to Angular v8.
  • Configured locale files (translations) in Angular using key-value pairs.
  • Fixed various UI bugs.
  • Added Liquibase to manage database changes and wrote documentation to help new developers get onboarded easily.
  • Picked up new technologies quickly to handle changing project needs.

Lockdown to Production: My Engineering Journey

It started back during COVID-19 with a simple Coursera course in HTML, CSS and JavaScript. That first exposure to web development hooked me instantly, prompting me to dive deeper into Java and Advanced Java right before graduating.

Fresh out of college, I joined a start-up running on a Spring, Angular, MySQL stack. That environment was a turning point. Through hands-on projects and the guidance of great mentors, I hit the ground running by mastering Spring, Spring Boot and Spring Security. More importantly, that was where I truly honed my debugging skills by tracing issues smoothly from the client side all the way down to the server.

When the company needed to upgrade our legacy AngularJS app to Angular v8, I picked up TypeScript and modern Angular on the fly, building on top of my core web fundamentals. I also took ownership of integrating and documenting Liquibase for database management.

As I pursued my master’s degree, I expanded into backend scalability and infrastructure by learning Docker and diving into Microservices architecture. On the frontend side, I researched and documented Micro-frontends using Module Federation.

Today, my core focus is simple: building secure, scalable APIs that solve real, painful problems.
