macOS build in 1.4.6 fails on Xcode new build system

When attempting to build either 1.4.6.0 or 1.4.6.1 on macOS using cmake -G Xcode .. I get the following error:

CMake Error in external/spirv-tools/src/source/CMakeLists.txt:
  The custom command generating

    /Users/bill/Documents/Dev/iOSProjects/Khronos/CTS/VK-GL-CTS-1.4.6.1/build/external/spirv-tools/spirv-tools/build-version.inc

  is attached to multiple targets:

    SPIRV-Tools-shared
    SPIRV-Tools-static

  but none of these is a common dependency of the other(s).  This is not
  allowed by the Xcode "new build system".

The same error repeats also for:

CMake Error in external/glslang/src/CMakeLists.txt:
  ...
CMake Error in external/jsoncpp/CMakeLists.txt:
  ...
CMake Error in external/spirv-tools/src/CMakeLists.txt:
  ...

This looks like the Xcode "new build system" rejecting a generated file (build-version.inc and the glslang/jsoncpp equivalents) that is attached to both the shared and static library targets of the bundled third party sources.

Could you try configuring with the legacy Xcode build system and see if it gets you past the error?

Just checking in - did switching to the legacy Xcode build system get you past the error? If we don't hear back within a month we'll close this out, but feel free to reopen any time if it's still a problem.
