Summary
The CI build jobs fail during cargo clippy --workspace --all-targets -- -D warnings on Rust 1.98 because clippy::chunks-exact-to-as-chunks is now enabled by default.
Keep the existing chunks_exact calls because they intentionally preserve exact-size parsing and the suggested as_chunks API is unavailable at the declared Rust 1.87 MSRV. Add narrow, documented allows at the affected functions.
