Start the development server:
npm run devThe application will be available at http://localhost:5173
Build the optimized production bundle:
npm run buildThe build output will be in the build/ directory.
Preview the production build locally:

The website is deployed on a server at NITK. There are two deployment scripts available:
Full deployment process including:
- ✅ Pulling latest changes from Git
- ✅ Installing/updating dependencies
- ✅ Building the project
- ✅ Creating backup of current deployment
- ✅ Copying files to web directory
- ✅ Setting proper permissions
- ✅ Testing Nginx configuration
- ✅ Reloading Nginx
Usage on server:

./deploy.shOr from anywhere on the server:

Quick deployment without Git operations (use when changes are already on server):

- ✅ Reloading Nginx
Usage on server:

./deploy-fast.shOr:

- Commit and push to Git repository
- SSH into the server:

- Run deployment script:
- For full deployment (with Git pull):

- For full deployment (with Git pull):
- Verify the website is updated at http://kannadavedike.nitk.ac.in
Both scripts are located in the project root:

If you aren't satisfied with the build tool and configuration choices, you can eject at any time. This command will remove the single build dependency from your project.

If port 5173 is in use during development:
# Kill process on port 5173

# Or change port in vite.config.js- Always test locally before deploying

public/folder
