Including g2tmpl/1.15.0 in an upcoming quarterly spack-stack release is fine. Since spack-stack 1.9.2 has already been installed on the R&D machines it can be included in the next version (1.9.3).

The g2tmpl/1.16.0 was recently released and will be installed on WCOSS2 soon. From the UPP perspective, we would like g2tmpl/1.16.0 included in the new spack-stack release and installed on R&D platforms so we could update UPP for UFS development.
