Describe the Feature

Problem: Copilot proxy tries to go ipv6 through ipv4 only proxy. Requests are dropping on proxy. (direct=ipv4+ipv6, proxy=ipv4+blocking ipv6). It forces me to disable ipv6 globally on my computer (it's very inconvenient) to use only ipv4 on proxy.

Proposed solution: Adding feature "force IPv4" for ProxyBridge proxy server options.

Benefits: It would be possible to work (proxy=only ipv4, direct=ipv4+ipv6).

Its not ProxyBridge issue. ProxyBridge already support ipv4 and v6 both for Proxy. Your proxy server might not support v6 traffic. You can customise your rules to include only ipv4 to proxy

mmmm. If i manually set ipv4 hosts in targets i will get inconsistent state: IPv4 will be proxied but IPv6 will be direct.
I don't want to share my real ipv6.

Whats the expections here? Either you have proxy all traffic, or split them v4 via proxy and v6 direct, or all as direct.

The dest ip is not coming from ProxyBridge. Copilot app connecting to server which uses v4 and v6 both.
This has nothing to do with ProxyBridge.

Can AAAA dns results be removed by ProxyBridge?

Possible, but not in the current goal. An alternative for you is to block IPv6 traffic for the Copilot app and set up another IPv4 rule as a proxy.

Yep, It's not a perfect workaround but that works for my case.
