Guo Zimeng — portfolio

Source for the portfolio page published at https://guo-0111.github.io/

The site is plain static HTML. There is no build step: edit index.html, add images to images/, commit and push to main. The workflow in .github/workflows/deploy-pages.yml publishes the repository root to GitHub Pages.

Working on the page

Open index.html in a browser to preview it. It is self-contained, so a double click is enough — no server needed.

Content that is easy to update:

• the three case studies in the Selected work section
• the figures in By the numbers
• the dates and descriptions in Background

Contact links

The page links out to two places:

• Fiverr — https://www.fiverr.com/data_guo
• GitHub — https://github.com/Guo-0111

Update those two hrefs in index.html and in the footer if either account changes.

The archived Astro project

astro-site/ holds the previous site (an AstroWind-based pet-shop landing page) exactly as it was, so it can still be built and deployed if you ever want it back:

cd astro-site
npm ci
npm run dev

It is excluded from the GitHub Pages publish step and is not built on every push. Its CI workflow only runs when files inside astro-site/ change.
