KEYLOGGER

🔑 Basic Keylogger

  • This program records and logs every key you press on your keyboard.
  • It saves all keystrokes to a file named keylog.txt in the same folder.
  • The program runs in the background and safely exits when you press the ESC key.

⚙️ How It Works

  1. Uses the pynput library to listen to keyboard events.
  2. Normal characters (letters, numbers) are written directly.
  3. Special keys (like Enter, Space) are written inside [brackets].
  4. Pressing ESC stops the keylogger and closes the program.

🚀 How to Run

1️⃣ Install Python 3.x if not already installed.

2️⃣ Install the required library:

3️⃣ Save the script as keylogger.py.

4️⃣ Run the program:

5️⃣ Start typing! All your keystrokes will be saved in keylog.txt.

6️⃣ To stop logging, press the ESC key.

⚠️ IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

This project is for educational use only. Using a keylogger on someone else’s computer without clear permission is illegal and unethical. Use responsibly on your own system.
