Summary

Add Pion (Meson made up of up/down quarks, 134.97MeV) and Glueball (pure gluon particle, just confirmed these days, 2395MeV) for LHC. pion can be genarated in ATLAS and ALICE, glueball only in ALICE. both's weight is 80.
Graviton's weight has been adjusted fron 50 to 60 to offset the new particles' influence.

Quark Catalyst recipe change:
(Also J/Psi and Upsilon usage cut half down, these two are even harder to get than higgs)
Up & Down:1000 lambda -> 1000 pion
Strange:1000 Eta -> 200 lambda
Top:85 Higgs -> 300 upsilon

Usage of glueball:
Currently it's used to gate T4 LHC coils and 'stick' spacetime dust to APIC for ZPIC. Maybe in the future we can use it to glue something more powerful?
ZPIC recipe change: GTNewHorizons/NewHorizonsCoreMod#1897

I have two comments:

  1. I think the symbol for glueball should be something other than g. Maybe G? I don't know what is used irl actually
  2. The recipe that originally only used gravitons should continue to only use gravitons (unless you have a good reason to change it?). Currently, players can have their beamcrafters directly attached to each LHC module, but since the 4th module doesn't (and shouldn't) make glueballs, this means that specific recipe requires particles from two different modules, which could cause a bit of friction. It also means people need a ~GeV beam for that recipe instead of the minimum beam like before, meaning rates will effectively be nerfed. It'll also brick peoples' existing setups (but that's not our problem :P).

  1. maybe G instead of g, to tell the truth I also feel it strange when drawing
  2. As I calculated targeting beam to 1198MeV(half of glueball mass) will cause 50% graviton loss with same EU consumption compared to targeting to 0MeV. So I enhanced graviton weight by 1.2x, and the recipes should take half gravitons than before since only one input is needed. Also players have to build a high-energy LHC for graviton+higgs -> cosmic solder.
    As for setups, T3 and T4 modules are faced to each other so u can easily build a BC connecting each other. I wanna add some module interactions and encourage players to set up routings in this way.
    But yeh boson unit recipe can be reverted. To me I would like to keep ZPIC recipe, 'sticking' spacetime with bosons of gravity and strong force is such a cool idea that I cannot give it up

I unreq'd admin & optimized. I would recommend cloning the org repo for future PRs since you're in the org, OI & Spotless PRs do not work on PRs coming from forked repos

@UltraProdigy UltraProdigy added the Ongoing Freeze - Do NOT Merge For PRs submitted close to a release that must wait for the next dev cycle to merge. label Aug 8, 2026

sounds good to me 👍 im not super familiar with the beamcrafting recipes added by others but what you say sounds reasonable :P
