0.4.31: The Edit view can now record audio against the picture, a sound clip can be separated into dialogue, music and ambience tracks, and timed lines and cuts written in a description are placed at those times in the generated video.

  • Recording: the Edit view can now record audio against the picture. The recording is placed on a sound track, aligned with the picture.
  • Separate tracks: a sound clip can be split into dialogue, music and ambience tracks, each adjusted and exported on its own. Separated music can be replaced from the generation bar with "Replace music": new music is made at the original length and lowered where people speak.
  • Timed lines and cuts: write lines such as "0:02 Jay: ..." or "0:05 Cut: ..." in the description, and the generated video places dialogue and shot changes at those times. A time beyond the video length or an empty cut is flagged before generation.
  • Preview first: the editor's generation bar can make a preview first. A selected preview part can run its second pass with "Run second pass" and is replaced in place at full quality. "Reuse settings" also fills in the original seed.
  • Ripple delete: deleting a clip in the editor also closes the gap it leaves.
  • Recent videos and Creations fold the videos of one task into a group. Click the cover to open it.
  • Progress estimate: the estimated total time of a request with a long reference video is no longer far above the real time. Speed and results are unchanged.
  • Start-up: the launcher now opens when the bridge folder is redirected. A failed model upgrade keeps its cause in the diagnostic report and points to "Try again" or "Report a problem". The launch progress names the GPU detection, acceleration test and workflow-node connection steps, a slow full log export shows how many files have been packed, and a failed start in the terminal points to the diagnose command.
  • Install: on some Linux systems, setup no longer stops while building GPU acceleration.
  • Mac: a fault while encoding a reference video is corrected or reported within seconds instead of at the end of encoding. When a Light or Medium text-to-video generation without references or continuation is interrupted during the first pass, the automatic retry continues from the last completed step instead of starting the pass over.
  • Speed: on 6 GB-class cards on Windows, each sampling step of a High generation with references is faster.
  • Audio cards: "Use as is" now stays clickable when Preview first is on or a video is being continued. Choosing it turns the preview off with a one-line note, and a continuation says why it cannot be used and what to remove.

…em C library headers clash...

Linux setup: build GPU acceleration with a private compiler when system C library headers clash with the toolkit

Newer glibc releases declare rsqrt/rsqrtf (2.42) and sinpi/cospi (2.41) noexcept, which the
CUDA toolkit declares without, so nvcc rejects every file that includes <cmath>, whatever the
host compiler's version. Before building Sage2 with a system or versioned compiler, compile a
small CUDA file that includes <cmath> with it. If it fails on this clash, build with the pinned
private compiler, whose own sysroot carries older headers, and record that compiler in the build
record. Any other outcome leaves the build unchanged. The probe result, compiler and glibc
version are kept in the run folder.
… recomputes a bad tile...

Mac: input-video encoding checks every tile for non-finite values and recomputes a bad tile instead of failing after the last one

A bad tile is recomputed by repeating it, then with the original operators
(only when lean operators were in use), then on the CPU. A failure inside the
CPU level restores weights, forwards and hooks. CPU stages are not counted as
uploads, rescue start and end are logged, and the encoder error counts tiles
since the encoder was prepared.
… completed step

A failed state write of any kind no longer stops the pass: torch.save reports
a failed write as RuntimeError, which the saver did not catch, so a full disk
could fail a first pass mid-sampling. Any error now marks saving as failed,
removes the partial file and lets the pass finish.
…racks, a toolbar button and...

Add optional dialogue, music and ambience sound separation with sub-tracks, a toolbar button and track export
…ation bar, with guide...

Editor music: separated music can be replaced in place from the generation bar, with guide targets on the sound lanes
Keyframe latent cache: first and last frames keep separate entries; cache only when the request names a root
Shorter parameter and tool descriptions, repeated shapes shared by reference only when the reference is shorter, and the tools/list size guard lowered to 185 KB. Idempotency, clamp and job-kind notes keep their full wording.
…g settings keeps the seed

- The generation bar gets a menu beside Generate with the same Two-pass
choice as the creative panel (Off / On / Preview first). With Preview
first, a single part that continues nothing is generated as a
half-size preview and the button reads "Generate preview".
- A selected preview part that starts at the preview's first frame shows
"Run second pass" in the toolbar and the part menu. It continues the
preview's saved request and replaces the part in place, with the
generation bar's progress and cancel. Parts that continue an earlier
one or ranges planned as several parts always sample both passes.
- Saved works mark a finished preview from its saved request, so the
step is also offered after reopening.
- Reuse settings fills the original seed once; later generations follow
the seed setting as before.
- Shift+Delete / Shift+Backspace and a part menu entry right below Delete remove the selected clips and move later content on every track earlier by the time they took. A gap that was already there stays. One undo restores both.
- When the content after a clip cannot move earlier (it would overlap, sits on a locked track or is generating), the clip is still deleted, the gap remains and the editor says so.
- Text and subtitles close nothing; a selected gap or range behaves as with Delete. The entry is greyed while the part generates, like Delete, and the shortcut list has the new row.
…first measured size

The output decision for small requests on a Windows card now reads the measured
curve below the first Windows measurement, still with the Windows margin, instead
of the held figure that moved those outputs to host memory for a small shortfall.
… so a long reference video...

Progress estimate: reference rows past the measured share weigh less, so a long reference video no longer shows a total far above the real time
