Restoring asymptotic inference to the non-asymptotic rountines. This is useful as it allows us to use the same infrastructure as the non-asymptotic submission to create brazil bands, project sensitivity and evaluate power asymptotically.
With the asymptotic flag the ts_dists_b returns the p-value distributions for making an upper limit curve and ts_dists_sb that for the distribution of discovery significances. Nothing else is calculated.
These return p-values not test statistics
