question to answer

• How are the edge system differ from the cloud?

  • Can we quantify heterogeneity between the cloud and edge, and how do they differ

• What is unique about the mobility between data center/clouds and mobility?

• why are edge tasks "small"? Are there tiny tasks, need quick scheduling, or longer running tasks? (scheduling overhead, how much is it pertinent)

• How far away is the cloud? Quantify. Edge is always the first step, so by definition it is closer. (The Web'21 paper, state of the cloud connectivity).
