Summary

Set up the repo so agentic coding tools (Claude Code and similar) can work in it reliably: a CLAUDE.md that actually reflects the codebase, spec-driven development for new features, and hooks.

Scope

1. Restructure CLAUDE.md

Rewrite the existing (uncommitted) CLAUDE.md into a fixed section order so it stays predictable to write and to read:

• Overview
• Project Structure
• Tech Stack
• Architecture
• File Naming
• Code Conventions
• Patterns We Use
• Patterns We Don't Use
• Common Commands
• Definition of Done (see item 4)

2. Spec-driven development

• Install GitHub speckit
• Run speckit constitution to establish the project's guiding principles for spec-driven feature work

3. .claude/settings.json: permissions and hooks

• Permission allowlist for routine dotnet/git commands, so agent sessions aren't interrupted on every build/test/status call
• Formatting hook (PostToolUse): auto-runs dotnet format on files after they're edited
• Secret-leak prevention hook: blocks commits that introduce likely credentials or keys

4. /adr skill

Scaffolds a new ADR: picks the next number, applies the existing template, links related ADRs.
