Verification PR for #1757: default-setup code scanning was disabled by the operator (root cause of the 2026-08-12 failures was "CodeQL analyses from advanced configurations cannot be processed when the default setup is enabled" -- a hard GitHub-side conflict, not a bug in this workflow). This workflow was re-enabled at the Actions level.
This trivial comment-only change to codeql.yml exists purely to trigger a fresh pull_request run and confirm the Analyze (Python) job now uploads its SARIF successfully. Merging afterward also confirms the push-triggered run that feeds the README badge.
